I am a Columbus, OH bride who used Kat for my fall 2014 wedding, engagement, and personal photos! I cannot sing her praises enough and strongly encourage you to use her services for not only make-up but coordination and logistics as well! Kat was so kind and forth coming in every conversation, I asked if she could do my hair and makeup for our engagement photos. The images speak for themselves in terms of the make-up, but what they don’t show is how reasonably affordable she was or the extra mile she went! Not only did she drive to our house and then to every location of the shoot to make sure I stayed put together, she also did my hair and helped our photographer – including watching our dog in between photos! Even our photographer asked for her card at the end of the shoot to recommend Kat to brides because he loved working with her so much! We were so relieved to have someone so enthusiastic and professional by our side, we enlisted Kat’s services for day-of wedding coordination. In addition to doing full bridal make-up for me, and full make-up for my mother and a bridesmaid, she did additional make-up and airbrushing for the remaining 8 girls all before running our wedding day. This included checking in guests, setting up venues, picking up food – you name it she was at our beck and call that day, the months leading up to our wedding, and the day after by running errands for us so we could get ready for our honeymoon! What I am sure was no small feat, she accomplished with grace and great energy – Kat was the antidote for this stressed out bride!! Kat was there for our rehearsal, helped coordinate our other stylists, and did so much more than we ever asked or expected. The impression she made on us is seriously unexplainable, but what I have loved the most is hearing how much our guests, bridal party, and other vendors liked her! Months later, and they still talk about how great their experience was coordinating with her. As a bride, I was most anxious from all the planning and spending. Hiring Kat was the best decision I made and it helped me with both. She is affordable, but above all else, she is kind-hearted and incredibly hard working. Where to begin…. Kat was the best thing that could have happened to us on our wedding day (besides each other!). Even from more than 2,000 miles away, Kat planned everything from the flowers to the dresses to the hair and makeup and even the cake! We had a basic idea of what we wanted… an outdoor, beachy wedding. Kat took that idea and ran with it creating an event more wonderful then we could have imagined! I was so relaxed on my special day that I fell asleep by the pool before I had to get my makeup done! Wedding Planning
While a girl’s wedding is the happiest day of her life, it can also be one of the most stressful! BUT- it doesn’t have to be! I wanted to thoroughly enjoy the big day and savor every moment- not worry about timelines and logistics. So I hired Kat from Always Elegant LLC. Best. Decision. Ever. From the beginning with planning, I was able to decide how much or how little I wanted and needed help- but whenever I needed her, she was just a phone call away! I was able to bounce ideas off of her and get a lot of insight from her knowledge of the bridal world. It was nice to have someone who was always interested in your wedding long after your friends were sick of talking about it! The day of the wedding was exactly what I wanted- fun! Anytime someone had a question about what to do, where to go, and when, all I had to say was, “Ask Kat!” She took care of making sure the ceremony venue was set up and perfect, and somehow managed to do the same with the reception venue. Throughout the entire process, Kat was professional, organized, personable, helpful, and so very sweet! I first met Kat when she worked at MAC and was amazed by how talented and professional she is. She has been doing my makeup for events for over 6 years, from a simple, daytime look to an elegant smoky eye.
